Research in digital preservation deserves it to be evaluated. But in my opinion our community is not paying enough attention to dissertations and other important publications in our domain. Hence this attempt to change that: the Digital Preservation Reading Club. Every 3 months I’ll plan a meeting in which we will discuss one publication. You can join this meeting by sending me an e-mail. After registration, you will receive a Zoom-invitation prior to the meeting.
19 January 2022 “Designated Community” 10.00-11.00 hrs CET (event has already happened)
We will discuss Chapter 5 of Rhiannon Bettiva’s Encoding power: the scripting of archival structures in digital spaces, using the Open Archival Information Standard (OAIS) Reference Model. 2016 about the concept of Designated Community.
WARNING: a registration form was used here. Since some time no registrations were received because of a site error. So if you did not receive a Zoom invitation yet, after registration with the erroneous form, please drop me an e-mail.
My apologies for this inconvenience.
Kind regards,
Barbara
